Here's a gorgeous, near-new 154 Road Crossing Signal with its original box, track activator, instructions and much more! This signal has been tested and both lights do illuminate properly. Additionally, the pole, signal head and base are all clean, free of rust and oxidation and there are barely any marks on the pole. Below is a summary of the signal and associated components:
- The signal is the later variation with a plastic crossbuck and bayonet bulbs.
- The bulbs have been tested and work properly. Additionally, the bulbs are original bulbs with GE 363 stamped on the base of each bulb.
- The crossbuck, lettering and base are all in near-new condition with no nicks, marks nor blemishes.
- The original 154C track activator is included -- and it also includes the brown corrugated protective cardboard for the 154C.
- Three original, unused green coiled wires are included.
- Original instructions -- in great condition -- are included and dated May 1953.
- The original postwar component envelope is included. The envelope is complete, free of tears and staining and externally the printing is crisp and clean.
- Lastly, an original OPS Overstamped box is included. The box is solid plus it has all internal and external flaps and is free of writing, staining and tape. It is interesting to note the OPS Stamped boxes were used into early 1953. However, this OPS Stamped box still has the OPS Label, however the pricing details have been blacked out by Lionel -- indicating early to mid-1953 production. This aligns with the May 1953 instruction included with this accessory.
