Now available for sale is a set of three well used 153 Block Signals. If you're looking for a weekend project to restore, repaint or simply fix up these signals -- or simply need block signal parts, this might be a good option for you. Additionally, you are purchasing the lot as is -- with none of the signals tested. As you can see in the photos, there is some light surface oxidation in a few locations, some layout paint on some of the bases, missing bulbs and a few random missing parts on one signal. However, nothing appears to be damaged nor broken and each of the signals should work with minimal effort. Included in the lot are:
- Two signals from the 1940's with screw-in 6 volt bulbs.
- One signal with the more common bayonet based bulb.
If you're handy at restoring or repainting block signals, this might be an interesting weekend project.
