Product Overview

Condition:  NOS           Original Box:  10          Year:  1973

Now available for sale is the fairly hard-to-find Canadian Pacific Service Station Special Set from 1973. This set remains in demand by both collectors and operators as the diesels are a very close resemblance to their postwar cousins -- the 2373 Canadian Pacific F3's. Additionally, this freight set has a colorful and prototypical set of freight cars behind the diesel, making it an attractive set whether on display or traveling around your layout. According to popular reference guides, only 2,500 Canadian Pacific sets were manufactured in 1973 and this set is a truly a New Old Stock freight set from that year -- it's never been used nor run!

All of the original boxes are complete, clean and free of writing, tape and stains. The original set box is included -- which was opened from the bottom, so the top is still sealed closed. Even the diesels include all of the original paperwork as well as near-perfect original boxes, inserts and styofoam packing materials.

Included in the set are the following items:

  • 8365 Canadian Pacific F3 Powered Diesel
  • 8366 Canadian Pacific F3 Non-powered Diesel
  • 9113 Norfolk & Western Quad Hopper
  • 9723 Western Pacific Box Car
  • 9724 Missouri Pacific Box Car
  • 9725 Missouri, Kansas & Texas Bi-Level Stock Car
  • 9165 Canadian Pacific N5c Caboose

Don't miss out on an opportunity to purchase a brand new Lionel Service Station Set from 1973 -- which is now over 50 years old -- you will not be disappointed!
