Now available for sale is the early, harder-to-find light green or apple green variation of the Animated Newsstand. This accessory has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested, and works as designed. The external colors are clean, the decals are complete and the hydrant, dog and figures all appear to be original postwar items. There is no rust on the base nor interior plus the accessory includes an original, undamaged 364C controller. The only apology on the accessory is the original roof has a slight bow or warp on one side -- plus one of the interior roof corner tabs has a chip -- but the roof still fits properly into the correct location on the newsstand.
Also included is the original box -- properly dated 1957 for the light green variation of the newsstand. The box has all internal and external flaps, but as seen in the photos above is partly squashed on one end. Lastly, the original insert and instructions are not included.
