Up for sale is a gorgeous, near-new set of 1121 switches -- as well as their original box, insert, controller and instruction sheet. Both switches have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are fully functional and operate just as designed for Lionel. The rails are straight and extremely clean, the controller is complete and not nicked, chipped nor damaged and all light do illuminate properly. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either switch, but there is some scotch tape reside on two sides of the controller case.
The original box is complete with all internal and external flaps, but there is clear tape on several of the interior flaps. Also included is the original insert, a 1950 gold inspection tag and original instructions dated the summer of 1949 (which simply carried over into 1950 production). Overall, a beautiful set of switches that generally appear for sale in well used condition.
