Here's a gorgeous and near-new original postwar shell for the 1065 Alco diesel. This diesel was only catalogued in the 1961 Advance Consumer catalogue and did not receive a lot of publicity around it's introduction. Needless to say, sales were lackluster and this has become a somewhat hard diesel to locate these days.
This particular shell has vibrant exterior colors along with perfect side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the front apron is complete and not cracked nor repaired! If you have an Alco frame you're looking to upgrade with an original postwar component, this 1065 Union Pacific shell might be the perfect option for you.
