Up for sale is a lot of three postwar O gauge 042 manual switches. Below is a summary of the lot:
- There are two left-hand switches and one right-hand switch.
- All switches have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to install on your layout. The rails are free of rust and oxidation, although there is some minor tarnishing / aging on the sides of the rails.
- The lights work properly on each switch.
- Each switch has an original postwar red / green lantern cover. Two of the lantern covers are complete and not damaged, the third cover has one of the tabs missing that is needed to fit into the base. However, even with the missing tab, the lantern cover stays secure and works properly.
- The two left-hand switches have a bayonet base bulb -- indicating it was manufactured after 1950.
- The one right-hand switch has a screw-in bulb -- indicating it was manufactured prior to 1950.
- Each switch has a complete red activation lever and none are cracked nor damaged.
- There are light surface marks on each switch from usage, but nothing broken nor damaged and each is ready to be installed on a layout.
