Now available for sale is a clean TW transformer from the first year of production: 1953. This transformer has a complete, undamaged exterior case plus it has been fully serviced, tested and is ready to install on your layout or use to power up accessories. Unfortunately, the base does have some minor rust and oxidation, but the rest of the transformer looks great plus the top plate is clean with vibrant lettering and graphics. Lastly, the transformer has a reproduction line cord installed for your safety.
Also included with the transformer is the original box and instructions. The box is in poor condition as it is brittle and one side has a tear from top to bottom. Finally, the instructions are dated 1953.
