Here are the reference books that started the entire prewar and postwar crazy for more & more information regarding Lionel trains -- the McComas & Tuohy reference books from the mid 1970's through the early 1980's! These books -- with nearly 900 pages of information -- helped fuel the interest and awareness in prewar and postwar Lionel trains and became the foundation of many other authors reference guides throughout the 1980's and 1990's.
This particular set of volumes 1 thru 6 are brand new and never used and include a hard cover case to protect each of the six soft cover books. Although the reference books might be considered basic by today's standards, there's a certain charm in reading each volume knowing it would become the foundation for other authors over the next 25+ years. Included in the set are the following books:
