Now available for sale is a brand new, never used K-Line 2749-0375 New Haven EP-5 locomotive. This diesel has vibrant exterior colors, clean, crisp side lettering and graphics plus functional pantographs and die-cast trucks. The electric diesel has been tested and operates perfectly.
Unfortunately, one of the die-cast pilots (as seen in the 5th and 6th photos) has experienced an unusual crumbling or decomposition of the front simulated pilot (similar to some prewar Lionel locomotive wheels) and has cracked into multiple pieces. It's doubtful these pieces can be glued back together, it will probably need to be replaced or simply used as is.
Lastly, the original box and packing insert are also included with the diesel. Overall, a gorgeous locomotive that has one noticeable apology to a pilot truck.
