Here's a beautiful Chessie Systems metal sign with vibrant colors and crisp, sharp lettering. This classic Chessie System sleeping kitten logo started in 1972 when the C&O merged with the Baltimore & Ohio railroad as well as the Western Maryland railroad forming the newly found company named the Chessie System. This thick metal sign measures 8" tall by 12" wide. The only blemish is one corner has a slight ding -- as shown in the 3rd photo above.
