Now available for sale is a New Old Stock Detroit & Mackinac covered hopper from 1975. This one-year-only freight car was an uncatalogued freight car and is somewhat hard-to-find these days. This particular hopper has never been used, is truly in brand-new condition plus it has the traditional Symington-Wayne trucks with functional couplers. Lastly, the external colors are spotless, the side graphics and lettering are pristine and the base, trucks and couplers are new with no signs of usage, rust nor oxidation.
Also included with the freight car is a complete and solid original box. The box has all flaps and the front cellophane panel is complete and intact.
