Now available for sale is an original, undamaged and fully functional # 88 direction controller. This controller is the later variation with the posts 1/2" apart from each other. The # 88 controller was designed for transformers that do not have a direction button built into the transformer such as the type R, V and Z transformer as well as several of the smaller transformers from the later 1950's and into the early 1960's.
This controller is in great conditon with nothing dented nor damaged and is also free of rust and oxidation. The button has been tested and does operate as designed. Also included with the controller is the original box. The box is the Early Classic / Three Cities variation and is solid and free of writing and stains although one tuck flap is missing. Overall, a nice item that generally does not surface for sale with its original box.
