Up for sale is the somewhat rare, uncatalogued Chessie GP-20 from 1974. This colorful and attractive GP-20 locomotive is brand new, never used and truly New Old Stock inventory from 1974. Externally, the diesel has pristine colors with vibrant side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame, motor and trucks are as clean as the exterior and free or rust and oxidation. The motor has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ. Lastly, the lights work properly, the e-unit is functional and the functional couplers are fully operational.
Also included with the diesel are all original paperwork items including:
- Clean and complete original instructions.
- Original warranty card.
- An original box that is as solid as a brick, includes all internal and external flaps plus a complete syrofoam insert.
