Up for sale is a beautiful Santa Fe GP-9 diesel from the early 1970's. This diesel has the faintest signs of being test run -- otherwise it's in near-new condition. Externally, the diesel has pristine colors with vibrant side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame, motor and trucks are as clean as the exterior and free or rust and oxidation. The motor has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ. Lastly, the lights work properly, the e-unit is functional and the front functional coupler is fully operational.
Also included with the diesel are all original paperwork items including:
- Original warranty card.
- Original generic Lionel GP-7/GP-9 instructions.
- A complete and solid cardboard insert with the Dealer Flap still intact as well as all four styrofoam inserts.
- An original Lionel box that is as solid as a brick and includes all interior and exterior flaps.
