Now available for sale is a beautiful, all-original 736 Berkshire with a 736W Pennsylvania whistling tender. This locomotive and tender have beautiful exterior colors with clean and complete side lettering and graphics. Each unit has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works properly including the e-unit, the smoke unit, the headlight is functional plus the tender whistle is loud. Additionally, the trucks, frame and wheels are clean and free of rust and oxidation and the tender has an original postwar shell that is complete with both rear corner steps and free of cracks and damage. Lastly, the locomotive does have the correct red and green wire windings on the armature.
Also included with this set are many original postwar extras, including:
- Bottle of smoke pellets -- which is about 90+% full.
- Wooden smoke pellet tamper.
- Instructions dated 1961, but does have some light soiling on the exterior.
- The steamer box has all end and tuck flaps but is missing the front perforated panel and it is a bit soft.
- The tender box has some tape on the interior flaps and is missing one inner flap, but has both end and tuck flaps.
