Here's a gorgeous, all-original 736 Berkshire with a 2046W Pennsylvania whistling tender from the late 1950's. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works properly including the e-unit, the smoke unit, the headlight is functional plus the tender whistle is loud. Additionally, this locomotive and tender combination have beautiful exterior colors along with clean and complete side lettering and graphics -- although there is a fingerprint one one side of the boiler as seen in the 8th photo above (presumably from the Lionel factory during the manufacturing / painting process). Lastly, the side drive rods, trucks, frame and wheels are all clean and free of rust and oxidation plus the tender has an original postwar shell that is complete with both rear corner steps and free of cracks and damage.
Also included with this Berkshire set are original boxes for each unit. The steamer box is complete with all interior and exterior flaps although there are about a dozen pen holes on one side (as seen in the last photo above). The tender box is nice and clean and has all flaps including both end and tuck flaps, both coupler flaps and all four inner flaps.
