Now available for sale is a gorgeous and all-original 736 Berkshire locomotive with a 2046W Lionel Lines whistling tender. Both units are the later style with the steamer having a single screw mount for the collector assembly and the tender having raised number boards on each side.
This locomotive and tender each have vibrant exterior colors with clean, crisp and complete side lettering and graphics plus there are no nicks, chips nor apologies on either item. The units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works properly including the e-unit, the smoke unit, the headlight is functional plus the tender whistle is loud. Additionally, the trucks, frame and wheels are clean and free of rust and oxidation and the tender has an original postwar shell that is complete with both rear corner steps and free of cracks and damage. Overall condition of the steamer is an 8 while the tender is a solid 7++. If you're looking for a great running Berkshire for your layout, this is an excellent option.
