Now available for sale is a clean, ready to run turbine locomotive with a 671W tender. Both the turbine and whistling tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to haul your freight cars or passenger cars around your layout. The exterior paint on the steamer is clean, the side lettering is clean and crisp however the front decal is missing. Additionally, the tender shell is an original shell with nice and clean lettering plus nothing is nicked, chipped nor damaged on the tender. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either item and all functionality operates properly such as the headlight, e-unit, smoke unit and whistle.
For reference, the turbine has 1949 drive wheels (ie: no rims on the drive wheels) but has a 1948 slanted motor with tubular brush plates. Possibly a transition item from one year to the following year.
