Now available for sale is a near-new, absolutely gorgeous 6657 Rio Grande caboose with its original box. This premium caboose has a beautiful silver and yellow exterior with perfect side lettering, graphics and decals. Even the base, trucks, coupler and end railings are in fantastic condition and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, there are no stress cracks, nicks nor chips on the caboose and the interior light has been rewired and does operate properly.
Also included with the caboose is its original box, instructions and an empty bottle of # 909 liquid smoke. The box is as solid as a brick, has all interior and exterior flaps and is free of writing, tape and puncture holes. Additionally, the instructions are nice and clean plus the empty bottle of liquid smoke has clean and legible writing, although there is a crack in the white screw-on cap.
