Now available for sale is a gorgeous Missile Launching flatcar along with an original postwar rocket, instructions and box. The freight car has beautiful exterior colors along with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the firing mechanism has been tested and for the most part works all of the time (there are occasional times the firing mechanism does not rise to the top most position). Also included is an original postwar rocket that is not cracked nor damaged plus the trucks and couplers are complete and fully functional.
Also included with the freight car are original instructions and a Perforated Panel box. The instructions are clean and complete and dated 1959. The original box has all interior and exterior flaps along with a nice and clean, fully attached front perforated panel. However, as seen in several photos, there is a quarter-sized portion of the front panel missing by one side.
