Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful, almost near-new gray New York Central gondola with canisters. This one-year-only color option from 1956 is the hardest of the three colors available on the 6562 gondola. This freight car has pristine exterior colors, vibrant side lettering and graphics and there is nothing nicked, chipped nor cracked on the freight car. Additionally, the frame and trucks are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, four original postwar canisters are also included. Each of the canisters are clean, free of damage and have nice, complete side lettering. Overall, a beautiful freight car that is not easy to locate in high collectable condition.
