Now available for sale is a clean cable reel flatcar with original and undamaged orange cable reels from the mid-1950's. This freight car is free of nicks, chips and damage, all four corner metal footsteps are present, both brakewheels are still attached to the flatcar however there are a ton of very minor speckling on the top of the frame. It appears as though the frame was not properly prepped at the factory as all of the small spots did not have original paint adhere to the frame. See photos 6 and 7 for a closer view.
Lastly, the cable reels are complete, not chipped and include original postwar aluminum wire plus the elastic band is a reproduction strap while the trucks and couplers are free of rust and oxidation.
