Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, all-original and near-new Transformer flatcar from the mid-1950's with an equally beautiful original box. This flatcar has vibrant exterior colors, crisp and complete side lettering on the transformer plus the flatcar is free of nicks, chips and wear marks. Additionally, the base is clean and the trucks, brakewheels and couplers are free of rust and oxidation. Also, the transformer is an original postwar transformer with four original postwar coils, although it appears as though one coil was cracked, but professionally and neatly repaired (you can barely see the repair, even if you are right next to it!).
Also included with the freight car is its original box. The box is solid, has both end and tuck flaps as well as all four inner flaps and best of all, there is no tape on any of the flaps! Unfortunately, both original inserts are missing. Overall, a beautiful looking freight car with a matching original box.
