Up for sale is a beautiful and all-original pickle vat flatcar from the early 1960's. This freight car was produced for several years in the early 1960's and remains popular with many collectors and operators. Externally, the colors are clean and vibrant plus the side lettering and graphics are crisp and complete. Also, the trucks, couplers and mounting plates are all clean and free of rust and oxidation plus all four corner steps are attached and not cracked nor repaired. Overall, a gorgeous freight car that does not frequently surface for sale.
Also included with the freight car is it's original Perforated Panel box. Unfortunately, the box is in poor condition as it's missing the front panel and there are many small tears on the box. Additionally, the end flaps are present, but there is clear tape on the interior of several flaps.
