Now available for sale is a gorgeous Type II M. & St. L. shell from 1957 with a beautiful Late Classic box. Externally, the freight car is a gem with pristine colors and crisp side lettering and graphics. The frame, door guides and trucks are free of rust and oxidation and the body is undamaged and free of nicks, chips and cracks.
Also included with the box car is a complete 6464-525 Late Classic box. This box includes all interior and exterior flaps as well as both coupler flaps -- plus there is no tape on the interior of any flaps! Lastly, there is some minor aging on the exterior and one of the thin, longer sides has a handful of small spots. Overall, a very respectable box for the 6464-525 M. & St. L. box car.
