Now available for sale is a gorgeous Timken box car from the late 1950's. This freight car has a Type IIB body mold, flat interior roof, unpainted body plus early AAR trucks with closed journals. Externally, the colors are vibrant plus the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and simply in fantastic condition. Additionally, the body is complete with nothing nicked, chipped nor damaged and the frame, door guides and trucks are in great condition and free of rust and oxidation. Overall, a gorgeous box car that would look great on a layout or display case.
Also included with the box car is a solid and clean Late Classic box. This Late Classic box includes both end and tuck flaps, all four interior flaps and both coupler flaps -- although there is clear tape on the interior of several flaps. Externally, the colors are nice and clean but there is periodic specific pricing on one side as seen in the photo above. Overall, a decent box that is usually not found with the freight car.
