Now available for sale is a gorgeous Boston & Maine box car from 1960. This one-year-only variation of the B & M box car has a Type IV body mold, interior roof ribs, an unpainted body plus early AAR trucks with closed journals. However, the gem of this box car is the exterior color -- which is the harder-to-find deep / dark blue molded color. The exterior color is pristine, the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and complete -- plus nothing is nicked, chipped nor damaged. Lastly, the frame, door guides and trucks are in great condition and free of rust and oxidation. Overall, a gorgeous box car that would look great on a layout or display case.
