Now available for sale is a clean, complete and undamaged New York Central gondola from the mid-1950's along with six original wooden barrels. This black gondola has bar-end trucks, original barrels and no corner steps nor brakewheel. The exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering and graphics are nice and white and the only blemish is a small surface mark and/or discoloration on one side by the corner (as seen in the 1st and 3rd photos above). Also included with this freight car are a set of six original Lionel large wooden barrels -- although the prior owner has labelled each barrel with pencil lettering on one side of each barrel -- which is also seen in the 1st and 3rd photos above.
Lastly, an original Middle Classic box is included with this gondola. The box is missing both tuck flaps, but does include each end flap and all four interior flaps.
