Now available for sale is an extremely clean, undamaged New York Central gondola from the mid-1950's -- including an original set of postwar barrels. This black gondola has bar-end trucks, no corner steps and no brakewheel. The exterior colors are vibrant while the side lettering is nice and white although there is some minor fading on one 'Y' in the NYC lettering. Additionally, there are a couple of very light surface marks (no larger than a pencil eraser) -- located in the second photo, 3rd panel from the left near the top. Overall, a nice and clean common gondola with its original load.
