Up for sale is a nice and clean brown 6457 illuminated caboose. This caboose has bar-end trucks -- indicating 1952 production -- along with vibrant exterior colors and clean, complete side lettering and graphics. Additionally, there are no stress cracks, nicks nor chips on the caboose and the frame, trucks and end railings are clean and free of rust and oxidation -- but there is some paint peeling on a couple of small locations on the end railings. Lastly, the interior light does illuminate.
Also included with the caboose is its original Middle Classic box. The box has both end and tuck flaps, all four interior flaps and one of the two coupler flaps. Lastly, this caboose was purchased at the following location -- which is no longer in existence as a hobby store:
