Up for sale is the early 1949, low production version of the Southern Pacific box car with the metal footsteps and the broken herald (between the letters R and N). This particular freight car has gorgeous exterior colors with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics plus there is nothing nicked, chipped nor damaged on the box car. Lastly, the frame, trucks, door guides and couplers are clean and free or rust and oxidation. Overall, a beautiful looking freight car that is not too easy to locate these days in collectable condition.
