Up for sale is the Erie freight car from the popular 6454 series of box cars. This particular freight car is the one-year-only variation from 1949 with staple-end trucks, metal corner footsteps attached to the frame and a die-cast painted sliding door. Externally, the colors are clean plus the side lettering and graphics are in great condition. There is nothing nicked, chipped nor damaged on the box car plus the frame, trucks, door guides and couplers are clean and free or rust and oxidation. Overall, a gorgeous box car that would look great on a layout or in a display case.
