Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, brand new and never run set of green tinplate passenger cars produced in the late 1940's. Each car has the correct magnetic couplers, staple-end trucks and all wheels and center rail contacts have no wear or signs of ever being on the track! The exterior colors are pristine, the side lettering is crisp and complete and all original window inserts are within each passenger car -- although several have had their adhesion contact crack and are now no longer attached to the side of the windows. The roofs are clean, free of dents and dings but there are some very light or minor surface marks from handling and/or storage. Lastly, the bottom of each car as well as the trucks and couplers are all complete, functional and free of rust and oxidation and look as new as the rest of the passenger car. Finally, all interior lights have been tested and illuminate properly.
