Additional Comments: Now available for sale is an original box for the United States Mail box car from 1966. This original box is in decent condition, but as seen in the photos above, there are a couple of minor tears on the exterior, one of the interior coupler flaps is torn and missing plus the stamped number on one end has black marker over the 6428 number trying to create a 6464 number. Otherwise all other interior and exterior flaps are present. As seen in the photos above, it's a decent looking box with nice exterior colors and crisp lettering and a reasonable placeholder box for this freight car -- which usually appears torn, tattered or simply in poor condition.
