Up for sale is a gorgeous, all-original and undamaged D. L. & W. work caboose with the center searchlight. This caboose has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and the searchlight is fully functional. The work caboose has vibrant exterior colors with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. There are barely any external marks plus there are no stress cracks on the roof. Additionally, all four corner metal steps are present, the tool bins are complete and not nicked, chipped nor damaged and the trucks and steps are clean and free of rust and oxidation.
Also included with the caboose is the original box and insert. The insert is complete and solid with nothing torn nor missing. The original box has both end and tuck flaps (with some clear tape on the interior) but only one of the four interior flaps are present. Overall, a decent box that is usually found in poor or tattered condition.
