Up for sale is a is a beautiful, all-original Type I illuminated caboose from the early 1950's with the SP logo on each side of the caboose. Externally, the caboose has vibrant colors along with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, there are no nicks, chips nor damage on the caboose, the interior light does work properly plus this caboose has staple-end trucks and is free of rust and oxidation. Finally, the 6357 SP caboose was available with multiple variations and shades of colors. This caboose has the tile-red painted body along with the following features:
- SP logo
- Illuminated w/ interior window shell
- Frame with one brake wheel
- Staple-end trucks w / one magnetic coupler
- No smokestack
- SP logo, "6357" underscored
- "C-40-1" and "BUILT 9-47"
Also included is a gorgeous Middle Classic box. As seen in the photos above, this box is as solid as a brick, includes all interior and exterior flaps and has beautiful colors. The box truly compliments the condition of the caboose.
