Now available for sale is the somewhat hard-to-find, one-year-only Alcoa covered hopper from 1956. This freight car has a clean exterior with nice colors, complete side lettering and graphics, however there are a handful of small or minor surface marks from usage. The body is free of nicks, chips and damage plus the hopper cover is complete with all functional opening hatch covers and nothing is damaged on the cover. Lastly, the bar-end trucks, tab couplers and mounting plates are clean and free of rust and oxidation.
Also included with the hopper is its original Late Classic box. However, as seen in the photos above, the box is well worn and in poor condition.
