Here's a clean, all-original New York Central culvert gondola from the mid-1950's. This gondola is the earlier variation with bar-end truck. The exterior colors are clean and vibrant, the side lettering is crisp and complete plus the freight car includes seven culverts (which appear to be original postwar culverts). Lastly, the frame, trucks, couplers and interior culvert tray are free of rust and oxidation.
