Here's a clean, all-original New York Central culvert gondola from the mid-1950's and is the earlier variation with bar-end trucks. The exterior colors are clean and vibrant, the side lettering is crisp and complete plus the freight car includes seven original culverts. Additionally, the culverts, frame, trucks, couplers and interior culvert tray are all free of rust and oxidation. The only apologies on the freight car are; the culvert tray has a handful of small paint nicks and chips from usage plus the original culverts have aging marks or spots on the exterior. Excluding the culvert tray, the actual gondola freight itself in condition 7++, it's beautiful on the exterior!
