Up for sale is a brand new and never used Santa Fe NW-2 diesel switcher. This variation of the Santa Fe diesel was only available for two years -- 1965 & 1966 -- and includes the traction weight mounted to the interior of the shell. Externally, the colors are pristine plus the side lettering and graphics are in perfect condition. Additionally, the frame, trucks and couplers are in new and unused condition plus the wheels have never been on the track. Lastly, the diesel has been bench tested and all functionality operates as designed by Lionel. This is truly a gorgeous locomotive that is free of nicks, chips and blemishes and is near impossible to locate in new condition.
