Up for sale is a beautiful A. T. & S. F. bell ringing switcher from 1949. This switcher has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is fully functional including the internal bell. Externally, the colors are gorgeous while the side lettering is crisp and complete however the side decals do have some minor flaking as seen in the photos above. Lastly, there are no nicks, chips nor blemishes on the diesel shell, the interior is just as clean as the exterior plus the unit is free of rust and oxidation. Features or characteristics of this switcher include:
- Functional internal bell
- Large GM decal on the cab -- versus the later versions with the smaller decal by the front nose of the shell
- 622 numbers printed on the front of the cab
