Up for sale is a beautiful 6175 Flatcar with an original postwar US Navy Rocket -- but with lettering on only one side of the freight car! This freight car has a vibrant red exterior and clean, crisp side lettering as well as an original postwar rocket. The freight car is complete and not damaged, the AAR trucks are fully functional however the original rocket does have a couple of hairline cracks from age as seen in the photos. Additionally, the elastic tie-down band is a reproduction band.
As mentioned above, the oddity of this freight car is the factory printing. The printing exists on one side but totally missing on the opposite side. The side without the printing is clean and crisp and shows no signs of the printing being manually removed.
