Now available for sale is a New Old Stock # 6167 Lionel Lines caboose from the mid-1960's!
Here's a brand new, never used caboose that was purchased from a collection where a significant number of items were purchased from Madison Hardware in the early 1990's when their inventory was moved from New York City to Michigan. For this particular caboose, there is no documentation indicating it came from Madison Hardware, however the external condition is consistent with many of the items sold out of the Michigan location; the item is unrun, a couple of light surface marks from storage and/or moving yet simply gorgeous 60+ years after it was manufactured!
This particular caboose is in gorgeous condition with pristine external colors as well as bright, crisp and complete side lettering and graphics! There is no damage to the caboose, the frame, wheels and trucks are free of rust and oxidation and the wheels show no signs of ever being on the track. Although this is a common caboose, for the caboose collector looking to purchase a pristine 6167 -- this is the caboose for you.
