Now available for sale is the somewhat hard-to-find Alaska gondola with canisters. This one-year-only freight car was created in 1959 to celebrate Alaska joining the United States as the 49th state. This gondola is complete, free of nicks, chips and cracks plus both of the AAR trucks are complete and functional. The exterior colors are vibrant while the side lettering is crisp and complete. Additionally, the canisters are original postwar canister and free of nicks, chips and damage, but all of the side lettering is either worn off or was never stamped with lettering. Overall, a nice and clean gondola with original canisters.
