Up for sale is a nice and clean New York Central gondola, canisters and original box from 1959. This freight car is complete, not damaged, has vibrant exterior colors and clean side lettering -- although one side has some slight fading on a few of the printed graphics. Also included are three original postwar unmarked white canisters -- however two are faded to a cream or yellowish color. Lastly, the AAR trucks are complete and fully functional.
Also included with this freight car is its original box. The box is nice, square and solid as a brick with about 80% of the perforation still attached plus it even includes the elusive thumb slot tab!. There is some tape on a couple interior flaps -- but overall a nice box that does not often show up in nice collector condition.
