Here's the hard-to-find, one-year-only white version of the 6112 Lionel gondola from 1958. This nice and clean, all-original white gondola has four original red heat stamped canisters -- all in similar condition. Both the car and canisters are complete, not broken nor damaged and there is only minor aging on the interior and exterior color of the freight car. The lettering is clean and vibrant plus the overall gondola shows very limited signs of usage. The lettering on all canisters are crisp, bold and complete. Lastly, the AAR trucks and couplers are complete, functional and nothing is broken nor damaged.
Also included with the gondola is its original Bold Classic box. The box has all exterior and interior flaps including both coupler flaps. There is some tape on one flap, all others are properly attached. Overall, a nice box with nice colors that is usually found in poor condition.
