This M. & St. L. caboose is brand new, unsold inventory from Madison Hardware dating back to the early 1990's when their inventory was moved from New York to Michigan. This SP-style caboose has never been on the track and the wheel are truly unrun. The exterior colors are pristine, the side lettering is perfect and the end railings are in new condition. The minor -- yet typical -- mold imperfection is on the roof as commonly seen in many of these cabooses from Madison Hardware.
