Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, near-new painted maroon Lionel Lines caboose from 1958. The painted maroon variation of the 6017 is a somewhat unusual color and does not surface for sale too frequently. The exterior colors are in pristine condition while the side lettering and graphics are extremely clean, white and shows no signs of fading nor usage. The base and AAR trucks are clean and the end railings are in perfect condition with only a small paint chip on the rear tab that is folded over to secure the body to the frame.
Also included is the one-year only Bold Classic box from 1958, which includes all internal and external flaps, including the coupler flap. As seen in the photo above, the word 'caboose' was written on one side.
