Now available for sale is a beautiful Lionel gondola from 1951. This particular variation of the 6012 is the hardest variation as it includes staple-end trucks -- which was a one-year-only option from 1951 -- as all subsequent 6012 gondola's had bar-end trucks! this particular freight car has vibrant exterior colors with clean and crisp heat stamped side lettering. Lastly, the body is free of nicks, chips and damage plus the trucks are clean and complete.
Also included with this freight car is its original Middle Classic box. The box is a gem as it includes all interior and exterior flaps plus is solid, clean and simply looks fantastic. Overall, a beautiful gondola that generally is found in well used condition.
